Tracked Shutters

Tracked Window Shutters

Tracked window shutters are perfect for dressing large windows and bi-folding doors. They  can also be used as a room divider. The shutters are installed using a tracking system with a smooth running ball bearing system fitted to the top of the opening. This provides a secure and supportive structure for the shutters to operate correctly.

Tracking style shutters are always Full Height shutters. Traditional solid style shutters can also be installed with a tracking system. This allows you to pull back the panels as they slide along the track with complete ease, allowing you to effortlessly open and close the shutters.

There are two types of tracked systems:

Bi-fold - the multiple panels on the track can fold back to either or both sides at a 90° angle to the track.

By-pass - panels can slide one behind the other to either or both sides.

TOP TIP: By-Pass Tracked Shutters are ideal as room dividers!

What are Tracked Shutters blinds?

When a window span exceeds the maximum shutter panel width that we can manufacture to, we use a tracked system. Shutters are built into a tracked system at the top and bottom of the shutter panels. This allows a large number of panels to span a wide area, whilst allowing them to completely bi-fold.

Pros of Tracked Shutters

Large areas can be covered with shutters whilst still maintaining the ability to bi-fold and fully expose windows.

Best for

Large windows, patio doors, bi-folding doors, room dividers and wardrobes. Tracked shutters are very popular in combination with bi-folding doors.
